Activity Progression

Rule-driven raise of DAC, MC, PC, and HC from ITR completion — gateway status that stays aligned with the work that actually exists.

Progression is the chain completions teams already know: ITR drivers on equipment, then discipline acceptance, then mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and handover. Doc-u-menT encodes that chain as project paths. When driver activities exist, reconcile ensures the matching DAC, MC-1, PC-1, and HC-1 gates — and soft-deletes orphans when drivers disappear.

It does not invent ITR sheets for you. Drivers come from Generate Activities, coverage fill, or a manual raise. Autogen is the gate layer so nobody re-types MC-1 on every subsystem by hand.

Gates from rules, not from memory

A completions lead should not keep a private list of which DACs exist. Configure the path once. When ITR-A exists on a subsystem, the matching DAC and MC-1 can be ensured. When the driver is gone, the orphan gate does not linger as fake progress.

Progression — ITR-A → DAC → MC-1 by Discipline.

What it does

  • Progress work through ITR → DAC → MC → PC → HC using configured paths
  • Partitioned MC path creates per-discipline DAC activities on subsystem targets
  • Scoped PC and HC paths create PC-1 and HC-1 on the hierarchy level you configure
  • Reconcile after generate, coverage fill, or deletes — gates stay aligned with drivers
  • Orphan gate activities soft-delete when the driving work is removed
  • Idempotent keys prevent duplicate gates for the same procedure, target, and labels
  • Generate Activities respects procedure target conditions before progression runs
  • Coverage Hub shows missing drivers and pending gate ensures before you fill gaps
  • Same milestone vocabulary as Gateway and Progression dashboards

Highlights

  • Autogen creates gates, not ITR drivers
  • Paths are project configuration, not hard-coded names
  • Drivers stay visible early — scope does not jump when a DAC is signed
  • Works offline on desktop through the same operation pipeline
