Gateway view

Certification Matrix

Gateway close-up: procedures, equipment, disciplines, and certification needs in one linked view — DAC, MC, PC, and HC.

In the product this is two cooperating views. Procedure Matrix maps procedures to tag-space hierarchies — what applies where, including inherited targets. Gateway dashboard then tracks open versus closed work across Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, and Handover, with drill-down into ITR stages, discipline acceptance, and cert procedures such as MC-1, PC-1, and HC-1.

Coverage sits next door: missing driver activities and progression gaps you can fill. The matrix is applicability. Gateway is completion. Together they are the certification story completions managers already have a name for.

Applicability, then gateway status

Start on the matrix when the question is “does this ITR belong on this subsystem?”. Move to Gateway when the question is “is Mechanical Completion actually closed?”. Do not confuse either view with Procedure Hub’s template builder — that is the printable form, not the coverage map.

Gateway — open versus closed for MC and PC. Handover fills when HC work exists.

What it does

  • Procedure Matrix of procedures against a chosen hierarchy type, with direct and indirect matches
  • Columns grouped by activity type so certification procedures sit together
  • Gateway dashboard for open versus closed across MC, PC, and Handover
  • Drill from a gateway into ITR stages, discipline acceptance pies, and cert tiles
  • MC-1, PC-1, and HC-1 tiles open the backing certification procedure
  • Coverage check for missing drivers and progression gates
  • Fill gaps creates drivers then reconciles DAC and gateway activities
  • Readiness rules can hold cert sign-off while Cat-A punches remain open
  • Stage names and members come from project gateway config

Highlights

  • Matrix = what applies · Gateway = what is closed
  • Default demo chain: ITR-A → DAC → MC-1, ITR-B → PC-1, HC-1
  • Wider dashboard suite lives on Completions Dashboards
  • Projects can rename stages — defaults are not a universal standard
