Tag graph
Tag Space Visualisation
See the tag space as scatter clusters, then as a force graph — hierarchy structure, not a skyline chart.
A completions register is a space, not a flat list. Tag Space Visualisation plots filtered tags across hierarchy categories — physical against logical, system against area — so clusters and holes show up before you raise a thousand activities in the wrong place.
Scatter mode collapses tags that share the same finest path into cells. Force-graph mode shows hierarchy nodes, parent links, and dashed links where nodes share tags. Click through to the tag or hierarchy. It is a read-only inspection of structure, not a Gantt and not a skyline.
Clusters first, then the graph
Start in scatter to see where tags pile up and where a category is empty. Hold the force graph when you need parent–child structure and the cross-links that mean two hierarchies share equipment. Search highlights matching hierarchy names without throwing the rest of the space away.
The same space as a force graph
Switch mode to Force graph when the question is structure, not density. Nodes are hierarchies. Solid links are parent–child. Shared-tag links show where two nodes own the same equipment. Highlight a name — Turbine Hall, a subsystem — without hiding the rest of the graph.
What it does
- ✓Scatter view across up to three hierarchy category axes
- ✓Cells collapse tags that share the same finest path so large registers stay readable
- ✓Optional cluster hulls around hierarchy groupings
- ✓Switch to a force graph of hierarchy nodes with parent–child and shared-tag links
- ✓Filter with the same toolbar as the Tags table, including a Visualise hand-off
- ✓Click a cell or node to open tags or the hierarchy entity panel
- ✓Force-graph granularity control to roll up coarser types
- ✓Desktop-only, offline-readable against the local project
Highlights
- • Scatter for clusters, force graph for structure
- • Header shows tag count versus cell count
- • Same filters as the Tags table
- • Not a skyline and not a programme chart
